Our Aims & Ethos

Developmental Milestones

Developmental milestones are markers used to measure a child's growth in areas of cognitive development, motor skills development, language development, and socio-emotional development. They help us understand how children develop and differ from one another in their growth patterns. Milestones support the understanding that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Natural developmental milestones are helpful in selecting the best age-appropriate programs and activities for children.

Pre-School Programs

PlayGroup (1.8 to 3 years)

Amaar School program is designed to meet the learning needs of children aged between 1.8 and 3 years. We provide special care and attention to these children, helping them overcome separation anxiety. The preschool program designed for this age group combines various fun-filled activities that align with the kid’s growth.

Nursery (2.5 to 4 years)

The program is designed to cater to the developmental requirements of children aged between 2.5 and 4 years. The curriculum helps children build a strong foundation in phonics and reading skills. They learn to articulate the alphabet in a sequential, rhyming manner and write in uppercase letters.

K.G. (3.5 to 5 years)

The Amaar School program prepares children for the next level of socio-emotional development and enhances their academic, social, and physical skills. The levels of facilitation, learning, and participation are elevated. We assist them in mastering reading and writing, covering long and short vowels, blending, digraphs, rhyming, and comprehension.

Prep (4.5 to 6 years)

Designed for 5-6-year-olds, this program prepares children for formal schooling by developing excellent reading skills through an emphasis on consonant blend sounds. Additionally, children are introduced to 'Addition' and 'Subtraction' with the help of concepts such as 'One Less' and 'One More,' ascending and descending orders, and ordinal and cardinal numbers.
